Printer Head is not moving when power is ON:

1) Head motor fail
2) Belt loose
3) Head support rod must be dust clean the rod with isopropile alcohol and clean the rod
4) Head motor amplifier on the logic board must be failure.
5) Ink catridge ribbon may got jammed.

Printer is printer on the same line :

1) Feed roller motor may not be working.
2) Feed motor amplifier circuity not be working.

Line feed and form feed is not working:

1) Feed motor amplifier circuity not be working.

Printer is printer even when paper is not there:

1) Paper sensor switch might be failure.

Printer working in self test but not printing data from the computer:

1) Printing Buffer failed.
2) Printing cable may be problem.
3) Printer part in the computer may be problem.
4) Printer is not enabled in the computer.

Printer is not working in windows but working in the DOS:

1) Printing is not configured in windows.

Printer head is moving and paper is moving but no print out:

1) Head amplifier on the logic board is problem.

One Dot is not present in each and every character:

1) Pin in the head must be broken.
2) Head coil must be problem (Short or broken)
3) Head cable from head to logic board is not good (Track of one coil must be cut)
4) A transistor in head amplifier must have got shot or open

When the power on the head moves to the starting point and makes sound:

1) Zero position sensor may be failure.

No head movement, no display LED glowing no the keyboard LF are not working:

1) Logic board failure.
2) Power supply failure.

Junk characters are printed:

1) RAM on the logic board is the problem.
2) Buffers on the logic board may be problem.
3) Cable may be problem.

Lines are shifting at the starting of each line:

1) Clean the rod on which the head supports.
